Are you
really ready to say
"Yes!" to the life you say
you want? Or are you
one of the many people I see
saying "no," and remaining
stuck in the same old rut --
a career that's less than
ideal, a relationship that
isn't working, or a less
than satisfactory life in
general?
It's always
interesting to see the
themes that come up in the
work I do with my clients as
well as my own continual
growth.
And lately,
the theme has been about
saying "Yes!" When we
say "Yes!" to the
opportunities that come our
way to help us grow into the
life we want, we are always
rewarded! And those
rewards come in many
different forms -- money,
happiness, health, and
success, just to name a few.
As an avid
student and teacher of how
this incredible Universe
works, this idea of saying
"Yes!" makes perfect sense
to me.
Albert
Einstein once said, "The
most important decision we
make is whether we believe
we live in a friendly or
hostile universe." If
you believe, as I do, that
we do in fact live in a
friendly Universe, read on.
If you truly believe that we
live in a hostile universe,
the rest of this article
probably won't make much
sense to you!
When we
decide what we really want
and infuse that decision
with passion, the Universe
immediately goes to work
trying to deliver it to us.
And that delivery will
always come in the form of
an opportunity or resource
delivered by another person
-- a resource or opportunity
that will help us move
closer to our goal.
Our job,
then, is to simply notice
those opportunities and say
"Yes!" to them. Where people
get stuck is that they see
the opportunity, but say
"no," often using excuses
involving time, money, or
worries about disapproval
from others.
Last year, I
made the decision to play
bigger in my business -- to
provide even more service to
more people and create more
abundance for them and
myself. Once I made
that decision, some
incredible opportunities
came my way. These
opportunities required
significant investments of
money and time, and also
involved the "risk" of other
people thinking I was "off
my rocker!" Saying
"Yes!" allowed me to spend
time with some incredibly
wise, talented, and
successful people. And
starting from the moment
I said "Yes!" things
began to change in my life
and my business!
I've seen the same
things happen to my clients
and my teachers -- time and
time again. Whether
they said yes to a learning
opportunity, a meeting with
someone, or to walking
through some fear barrier
they had never before dared
to cross, they are always
rewarded.
And
conversely, the people I see
saying "No" stay stuck and
are simply unable to create
the lives they say they want
so badly.
What will
you say "Yes!" to in order
to create the happy,
peaceful, healthy, and
prosperous 2010 you
desire?
